My best school friend,I just found you again for a short while, but now I must hang on to the memories of our years together as best school friends I remember the time we did cookery classes together when it was near Christmas the teacher said that we would be making a Christmas cake and I’ll always remember the excitement that you had  making that cake, as I remember, we both did extremely well and made it very nice royal icing Christmas cake to take home and be proud of and to give to our parents. Thank you for the memories of coming down to your house in Greetham Village and you taking me to visit your aunt Nora and the farm. We had many happy times at your house and I hope you had many happy times when you came and spent time at my house. I remember talking about leaving school and what jobs we would get I ended up in the co-op in Cottesmore Village and used to go over and get my doughnuts where your mum used to drive a van and deliver cakes I can’t remember that shops name. We didn’t see each other much during our early working days, but I do remember coming for a visit to meet your first born son and I also had to tell you at that time that my dad had been posted to Cyprus and I was going away to Cyprus with them. Somehow we lost contact but we met up again. We’re not very happy circumstances when I lost my niece, my brother‘s daughter, Sarah,you came to her funeral at Greetham  church and I very stupidly forgot to ask you for a phone number or address. I think I was too upset about the loss of Sarah and my head wasn’t in the right place, but I do remember how good it was to see you and think about the memories we made thanks to Facebook and a few of your friends especially your daughter. We got back together again for a short while you’d lost your dear husband Jorge, and you weren’t feeling well. I only wish that we’ve got together face-to-face and laughed and chatted about the good old days all I’ve got to say now my dear friend  is thank you for being my best girlfriend a friend who I could count on a friend. I had fun with and made wonderful memories in those early years so good night God bless my dear friend one day. We will meet again and be able to chat and laugh together as we did all those many years ago  I love you your friend Carol,
